Tik Manager 4.3.6 is Out!

What’s New?

DCC Specific Utilities

You know how we have extractors, ingestors, and validators? Well, now we have DCC-specific utilities too! Each DCC can now have its own specialized tools, accessible directly from the Main UI. More power and more flexibility for automation and integration.

Purgatory – Because Mistakes Happen

Ever deleted something and immediately regretted it? Good news: deleted sub-projects, tasks, works, publishes, and versions are now sent to Purgatory instead of being permanently erased. You can bring them back… unless you manually purge them, in which case, goodbye forever. Use wisely!

Kitsu Integration

If you’re using Kitsu for production tracking, we’ve got you covered. Tik Manager now plays nice with Kitsu, bringing smoother workflows and tighter project management.

Dockable UI for Maya

Maya users, rejoice! You can now dock the Tik Manager UI inside Maya instead of having yet another floating window cluttering your workspace.

Fixes & Improvements

  • Resolution Fix – No more weirdness when replacing thumbnail images.
  • Blender Referencing Fix – Referencing now works, as it is supposed to be…
  • QuickTime Playblast Fix for Maya – Because crashes are so last season.
  • UI & Performance Improvements – We made things snappier, smoother, and a bit more stylish.
  • Various Minor Bug Fixes – We squashed ‘em. All of ‘em. Probably.

New Starter Tutorials

This is not necessarily a version update but we’ve put together a series of bite-sized tutorials to help you get started with Tik Manager quickly:
